Workshops are usually held every Saturday following the monthly meeting.
If you are thinking of joining us for a meeting or workshop, know that you you are welcome. Introduce yourself as a visitor and we will show you around. Annual membership fees for the upcoming year are due at calendar year end. The $100 fee entitles you to attend ten meetings as well as all of our workshops (up to ten) throughout the year.
Our workshops are a perfect opportunity for Guild members to improve technique, mentor others or work on a new turning. We do not have a set agenda. Bring your own wood to practice on or work on a piece that is giving you some trouble. We have three lathes available along with sharpening equipment. If you are seeking to learn or practice, or simply don't have the equipment or the space at home, the Saturday workshops are a great place to turn. Experts are ready to assist in a supportive and encouraging environment.
